OUR VISION
1. Universal Access to Quality Education:
Every child, regardless of gender or community, has access to free and compulsory education, ensuring a brighter future and breaking the cycle of poverty and exclusion.
2. Empowered Women and Girls:
Women and girls from disadvantaged communities are empowered through education and skill development, enabling them to lead self-sufficient and dignified lives.
3. Food and Livelihood Security:
All individuals, especially marginalized women, achieve food and livelihood security through sustainable income-generating activities and equitable access to resources.
4. Health and Well-being:
Everyone, especially women and children from marginalized communities, has access to primary healthcare services, leading to improved overall health and well-being.
5. Gender Equality and Women’s Rights:
A society where gender equality is the norm, with zero tolerance for domestic violence and other forms of gender-related violence, supported by strong legal frameworks and community awareness.
6. Democratic Participation and Human Rights:
A democratic society where all individuals, especially the vulnerable and marginalized, are aware of and exercise their human rights, actively participating in democratic processes and decision-making.
7. Peace and Integration:
A peaceful and integrated community where social harmony, national integration, and the rule of law prevail, ensuring justice and equality for all.
8. Sustainable Development:
Sustainable development practices are adopted to ensure long-term socio-economic growth and environmental protection, benefiting current and future generations.
The Gitanjali Foundation is committed to turning this vision into reality through comprehensive, rights-based approaches, advocacy, capacity building, and fostering strong partnerships with communities, government bodies, and international organizations. Our ultimate goal is to create a society where every individual has the opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to the community and the nation.
